I call it the DFCM bowl but "cap" is Ford's term for it.

You can get them off eBay or from your local Ford dealer. Most of us with the 2011-2016 trucks keep a spare on hand. I have one in my truck tool box with spare filters also. Not sure if local parts houses have them or not.

The Dorman part number is 904-244 but the price is like $40 to $45. Probably not a stocked item.

Yes,, it has the drain port and the WIF sensor openings in the cups.....but they are not included...you have to swap yours over....make sure both o-rings remain on the yellow drain plug....also lube the o-rings with clean fresh motor oil....yellow plug o-rings and the big green o-ring.

OK. Got it. Just re-looked at my 'cap' and saw that the H2O sensor threads in. That was my concern..

Ive changed it before, but did not have any issues. Thought I had ordered a spare, but if I did, Ill be damned if I can find it.
Ill order extrys and lube them on installation.

White Bear had the better price by a couple bucks, but kept trying to make me pay via paypal, which I don't have. After two attempts on a CC, I went to Amazon.
I have two caps coming. Shipping to AK will be a week. Still need to try my local dealer partsdept to get this truck running again.

I have the "C" revision. I haven't broken one yet but am using the replacement currently, it has almost 30k miles of fuel through it by now. My OEM is now my spare.
I don't know what my OEM revision is but both visually appear identical, such as plastic thickness.
It had some algae bits in it two filters ago, I didn't feel like cleaning it that day so just swapped to the new spare. The new one had a soft protection-type material around it anyways.

I think they are still interchangeable. I suppose I will find out one day as my truck was made 5-12-2014 and the DFCM was replaced as a unit last year. Have not looked to see what the cup looks like on it. I carry a spare BC3Z.
