I was going to change my fuel filter today and noticed that the PO had stripped out the insert for the wrench and cracked the dang housing so needless to say I was a little annoyed I can get it off but I would like it to be RIGHT. I called the stealership and they want 58 bucks for the thing and none of the local parts stores have them just the cap and filter set up. I was wondering if anyone who deleted there fuel bowl would have there cap laying around and be able to help me out.

Thanks in advance guys!
Are you just looking for the black twist on cap over the filter. Let me know i might have a spare in the garage I could ship to you.
If you cannot find one here try Ebay. I bought one there last year. I think it was 20 bucks. I also bought a wrench from Powerstrokeshop.com that fits the lid perfectly and keeps it from getting torn up.
I use the fuel filter with the attached cap. I keep the old (nonattached) cap in my truck tool box in case I need to buy a filter on the road and don't which type I might be able to get.
