Climate control functions inop
Morning, all. 2012 F-250 King Ranch with Auto Climate Control. I can’t get any HVAC functions to operate, at all. The panel is on, and all buttons light up, and it looks like it should operate properly, but no blower, no temp change. At cruising speed I should be able to feel heat coming from the vents if the temp has changed to hot, even if the blower doesn’t work.
My troubleshooting, thus far:
- All HVAC fuses/relays are good.
- No DTCs. I reset just to be certain.
- Blower has 10.9VDC at the yellow wire when fan is set to high.
- Compressor clutch does not turn no matter what HVAC mode.
Should I have 10.9Vdc at the blower, or more? If 10.9 is ok, I suppose the blower motor is bad, but that doesn’t explain the compressor clutch doesn’t work, and why the temp doesn’t change? I’d appreciate any troubleshooting advice you can provide. Thanks.
