Also, discovered today that the Overdrive Off light is flashing.
Should the dome light be as simple as replacing the bulb and/or checking voltage.
Hey Glenn. Been awhile hope all is well. Not to jump in on this but lets hope just replacing the dome light works first. Then the voltage if necessary. For some reason I thought you had the E4OD trans. It has 20 pan bolts. If you do, that might be why the OD light is blinking also. Anyway you are in good hands with subford. Look forward to you fixing it. Sandy
Find out why the doom light does not work.
The fuse that supplies the doom light also powers the PSOM.
You do not have power on a power pin going into the PSOM (pins 1 & 3).
You might have to pull the cluster out some to test these two wires with a loading test light (non LED)..
If both wires are hot and you have a good ground to the PSOM then you might have a bad PSOM.
Well I have an update on this issue. A little embarrassing but I've never claimed to be a mechanic and my mind isn't near as sharp as it once was. Now that I have my excuses claimed, the fuse box I was checking is under the hood, WRONG ONE. I should have been checking the fuse box to the left of the steering column on the lower dash. #8 fuse was blown. Replaced it and all is good. Still not sure why driving through the car wash would have cause it to blow.
