Mine blows extremely cold, fantastic air on these. One thing to help is to make sure the roof liner is covered if you have the moon roof. Night and day to make sure the sun isn’t beating in there.
I also live in the south, so I’m not dealing with lukewarm.
Living in Phoenix, where it reaches over 115 several times a year, I’ve learned how to use the A/C. When I first get in the truck, it can be over 140 inside. I turn on the A/C on high, with fresh air pushed (no recirc) and roll down the windows. Once cool to cold air starts to come out of the vents (usually 3-5 minutes), then I put it on max A/C (which automatically puts it on recirc) and roll up the windows. These are are big trucks with big interiors. It takes a little bit to cool them off.
Yup, that’s about right for AZ. It was 103 degrees today..
My work issued me a 2018 F150 cc and the AC blows harder than my F250. It gets cold but the air volume being pumped out isn’t as strong.
Maybe my cabin air filter is a bit plugged, but the truck only has 8500 miles on it...
Being in AZ, AC is extremely important. Need more air!
On my 17 F250, I've observed that the least little bit of cloud cover on a hot day seems to improve the a/c efficiency significantly/immediately. I've been thinking of having my front windows tinted matched to the rears and then having tint added to the rears.

Consider a light tint on the windshield too. It doesn't have to be very dark at all, but makes a huge difference in how well the a/c works.
