My friend who owns a small stereo shop just installed the Ampro4 in my 2018 F250 with Sony system. The problems were are having right now is getting all the kinks worked out so we disconnected the Sony amp, but now I have no navigation and Bluetooth. I do have all my chimes at moment playing through my new door speakers up front.
He is going to call tech support to help him out with the rest, BUT my question will the Ampro4 do everything for us once we hook back up the Sony amp by only making chimes and Bluetooth go through middle dash speaker OR are we going to have to download Forscan for additional help?
Thanks for any pointers if you have been here before!
I installed the AmpPro4 a few months ago.... I bought the additional harness for it (believe it was APH-FD01) and that made things too easy. It has resistors to make the speakers be recognized for chimes. You have to have the factory amp hooked up for Nav, etc... Check out Five Star Car Audio's YouTube vids on the Amp pro for some more help.

Thank you for that useful info! The reason we unhooked the Sony amp was because middle speaker had way to much static and he needs to adjust settings this weekend.
