I have a t-18 (newer version of t-98) Warner in my 65. The speedometer drive gear (the one on the output shaft of the transmission) is shot.
I have the tranny out and I really need a new or good used gear. Mine is a 7 tooth gear, but a 6 would do (requires a lower toothed speedometer driven gear, but they are available)
Ford dealerships say it is an obsolete part and as such is no longer available.
T-18 speedometer DRIVE gear on output shaft of tranny. Comes in 6,7,8 tooth spiral gears. This is the gear that drives the "mushroom" shaped gear that attaches to the end of the speedo cable. The driven gear is pretty available from many places -- Obsolete Form, ***, Dennis Carpenter.
The drive gear was a little tricker. Finally found one, nice and new from:

The appear to mostly deal with tranny shops. As an end consumer, they had to just send it to me C.O.D. $2.19 for the part and about $13 in shipping and COD charges. I'm not complaining.
I have the impression that they can provide other tranny stuff too.
