Engine Parameters From Instrument Cluster
I remember reading a while back about a way to obtain more specific and detailed information from the instrument cluster such as various operating temperatures, voltages and such.
Does anyone know how to access this, or would it be easiest to use an OBD2 scan tool?

You can put dash in to "diagnostic" mode, it will show 1 reading at a time in a set sequence, but while engine is NOT running.
Not very useful.
If I recall, hold the trip reset (old style dash)
Or message center reset (new dash)
Turn key to run (not start).
Release trip/message reset.
Press and release reset to advance through data.
