Dash Cluster

If I purchase a new dash cluster for my wrecked Expeditionis there anything special I have to do. Will a used cluster work in my dash? 2002 Expedition

You will need to have it programmed by your dealer. A used cluster will not work either. I tried a used one and the truck would not start. I pulled the cluster apart and mixed them together to work.

How do I install a used dash cluster in a 2002 expedition and get the vehicle to work. Is there some secret?

Dash Cluster

I needed the needles and some internal, mechanical components (motors,etc) I tried to just hook up the cluster and the truck would not start. So I just dismantled the clusters and swapped out parts. To get a used cluster to work I believe you would need the key from the ignition as well as the computer from the vehicle.
