Is a track bar relocation bracket necessary?

My F250 had a leveling kit when I bought it and I was convinced I needed a drop bracket. Bought it and installed it, had the alignment done and it drove worse than without the drop bracket. It wandered on the freeway and had significant bump steer, took that bracket off tonight, cenetered the steering wheel and it drives like it used to.
My driveability issues were likely related to the track arm and drag link not being on the same plane as mentioned above.

problems with trackball relocation brackets could be due to the wrong size bracket. if you do a 2" lift and put in a 3" - 6" relocation bracket you will have problems.

It's a 2.5 kit .... I actually bought the full kit again as it came with the TB relocation bracket all for 300$

i bought a full kit recently for a 2.5 lift and got a relocation bracket for a 3” to 6” lift.
check the bracket part number to make sure you do not have too much correction.

mine is installed.
The bracket that came with the kit was 67-2538 and it turns out that bracket is there de facto bracket for all their kits.
i would up taking it off and using a bracket that had numerous bolt hole options for the track bar depending on the lift.
the 67-2538 is supposed to be a 2.5 - 3.5 lift relocation bracket.
