2011 Platinum - backup camera issues
The backup camera has a number of issues that have been going on for about 5 months. It can work normally, it can be clear but with a reversed picture (left is right; right is left), it can flicker black with horizontal video lines (like the H-hold on old TV's) or it is just black. It can bounce between these symptoms anytime the truck is in reverse. The truck does not need to be tuned off and restarted to have different symptoms. I pulled the inside of the tailgate off and everything looked normal, tight, and 'dry'. I live in northern MN so thought it was a snow/cold issue, but with the warmer weather, things have not changed.
Any suggestions or ideas where to look next would be greatly appreciated! Really got used to the backup camera and would like to be able to rely on it once again.
