Extended Warranties
Can you share you're extended warrantee deals please. I am going to ask for an extended warrantee and would like to know what others went with and what the dealers were willing to offer as far as dealing on the price of them. My last one was on my 2015 F250 it was a 100,000 mi extended warranty with a 50.00 deductible for 2114.00 after I negotiated. It was a third party warrantee and has served me well with 94k miles on the truck now I have used it 4 times for a definete savings. Please share. Thank you.

I would not go with anything other than a genuine Ford extended warranty. You can find them online at Flood Ford, Champion Ford and others. My dealer didn't even try to come close, so I went with the online one.
Beware of dealers selling warranties that sound like they are from Ford. My dealer tried to pull that. Nope, I wanted the real thing.

Go to flood fords website to look up price. You can put in everything you want so you know your bottom number before you go to the dealer.

Get the Ford extended then check with your insurance to see if they have mechanical breakdown.
i bought the 8/125 extended from ford then got a 7/100 from my insurance for less than 5 bucks a month. My thinking is if ford Denies a warranty claim becuase I washed the truck with the wrong type of car wash, my insurance would be an option.

I did the 7/150 premium ESP ( First Day rental, extended rental, key replacement and lighting coverage) with a 100 deductible and added the 7/200k diesel warranty. I went with Lombard Ford and I can't disclose the price but I suggest calling them. I was 100.00 over their net cost and financed both for zero interest. Had the same coverage on my 16 and it paid for a full engine at 180k which would have been a 19k repair and I had a full rental for the 35 days the dealer had it.
