1” Wheel Spacers

So I would like to get the tires to stick out a but more but have no experience with wheel spacers. I know a lot of people say to stay away from them, but I hear that more about the 2” spacers.

Whats everyones thoughts on just going with a 1” spacer? Any advantages of going with a 1” over a 2”?

I wouldn't recommend wheel spacers that were not hub centric.

With that said, I believe the narrowest hub centric spacer available is 2in because it has to cover the full lug length.

I would stay away from spacers with these heavy trucks no need to compromise you or anyone on the roads safety.

Interesting. Thanks. They don't state advantages/disadvantages of steel to aluminum.

I don’t trust wheel spacers one bit!! Seems sketch AF to me but it’s your truck your choice

I'd get new wheels before I got spacers. I hear the Boras are the only way to go if you do get spacers.

The biggest problem going with anything less than a 2" spacer is you will have to cut your factory wheel studs. There's no way I would do that. To add a little stance to your truck put your money into +18/20mm offset aftermarket wheels.

I would have no problem running their steel spacers on my truck. When installed and torqued properly (and checked on a regular basis...this is something people NEVER do which helps lead to their negative connotation), spacers can be very functional and reliable.
1" spacers will require you to cut your stock studs shorter. Something I would NOT do. 2" spacers just seem excessive.

And remember....spacers play hell with your wheel bearings leading to a shorter life due to the extra leverage.

I’ve had 2”spacers on my Excursion for 5 years/70k miles w no issues. Mine are steel and definitely make sure you buy hub-centric
