I am looking at this alternative can you provide more details about your experience please? Vehicle miles before and since? Where did you learn of this? How did the work go? How is access to the other pipes 2 ports? Ect thanks man.
Takes 10 mins to install the blocker plates vs 1-2 hours for complete cooler removal. Also cheaper. Under $100. This is assuming you don’t break the bolts removing the EGR crossover tube off the exhaust manifold. Did this when the truck was brand new (less than 100 miles). Have 27k now. No issues.

The truck already has s&b intake (and a afe scorcher HD tuner which I plan to
My previous experience was a 2010 6.4 I got.with 115k that I immediately dpf deleted and did nothing with the egr no issues for the 30k miles I accumulated in 4yrs.
That era of programming required all sensors to remain plugged in. My understanding of the 2017 / 6.7 is that all sensors can be removed/unplugged after tune...is this true? Do you have a source I can educate myself?
Thanks in advance!
All sensors come out. Get with Shibby Engineering to get a dummy plug kit to have blanks to plug into the factory wiring harness on the frame.
UGA33 which tuner do you have loaded ? Which power setting used ? Did it come with a transmission tune ? Hows your transmission behaved/handled this ? Thanks
Patriot NDash. Long story short, EPA stepped in and they are no longer in business. I keep the truck on the 450 tune. They advertise their tunes as RWHP, so it’s probably a 60-80HP tune over stock. They didn’t have separate tunes. Engine and transmission were all in one file. I’ve run their tuning on 3 trucks putting over 200k miles between the trucks (09 6.4, 12 6.7 and my current 17). Their tuning has always been the best transmission tuning in my opinion. If I get a new truck, since they aren’t in business, Proven Diesel would be who I chose.
This is a block off plate kit. Not a full EGR delete kit. Dirthawg posted links to the different kits. The blocker plate kit will have 4 plates. Two for the inlet and outlet on the cooler, one for the intake manifold, and one for the exhaust manifold. A full EGR delete will come with 2 plates and the bigger plate that allows removal of the cooler.
are you able to use the temp sensor out of The OEM crossover pipe or did you have to order a different sensor??

No problem with Clemson here. What Dabo has done has been refreshing to watch. Trevor was something else to see in high school. You could see he was a once in a life phenomenon that came through. Kid was incredible. Still is. He has a LOT of Georgia fans pulling for him.
