Brake lights stuck on

Just had new hydro booster and reservoir put on. Noticed my brake lights were staying on constant. Replaced the relay switch on the brake pedal but they still are staying on and my auto start won’t start unless I unplug the relay switch. Any ideas?

The pedal isn't depressing the switch is it? Maybe they adjusted the pedal also and now it's making contact with the switch all the time?

Switch

I couldn’t see an adjustment for the pedal. The pedal is non stop contact to the switch. My brake rod didn’t adjust. And the pedal is squishy

sorry i was thinking of the older models i think. i just watched a video on a guy replacing a hydroboost and saw there is a retaining clip inside that presses a spring against the pedal rod. it looks like if the tabs were not bent right when reinstalling it could push the pedal rod in to far and not give you the slop that is needed to not depress the switch. check out the section that starts at 4m54sec,
. maybe you need to take it back to who installed it and have them fix it?
