2003 Ford excursion replaced front springs with X
Will do rear with B this summer , will these bilsteins still work ok since f250 is naturally higher ?
They will bolt on if that is your definition of work but they will not have the compression or rebound valving that Bilstein uses for the Excursion, they will be valved for the weight and usage of a pickup truck.
If you are trying to get a different valving setup then what Bilstein offers for the excursion it seems like you would just choose from one of their Custom Fit shocks, all lengths are available in 3 different valving sets.

Would the valving difference be noticable ?
Never thought about any difference other than length..
Very noticeable , The shocks valving is what gives a vehicle its ride and handling characteristics , Generally a pickup is going to be setup for handling a large payload securely with less regard or emphasis on passenger comfort.
If you want Bilsteins Excursion valving here are the part numbers.
red is from and blue rear, I don’t know you’re rear lift height so here are the numbers for both a 2” and 4” lift
