Shocks for 2018

My rear drivers shock blew - now it's leaking. So I'm thinking I'd like to upgrade the shocks to Bilsteins of Fox shocks. Looking for suggestions and or a place to buy them. I have no plans to lift the truck - just going to have the standard height. Looking for a source and part #'s front and rear.

Fox are good and reasonably priced. I have a 6" BDS/Fox coilover on my 2014 F150 and those shocks make the ride ridiculously smooth. The Eibach springs help a little too though, but I also put a Metal Cloak 2.5" lift on my wife's Wrangler with Fox shocks and the ride is much better with that too

Does anyone know exactly what needs cut to fit King coilovers?

I keep hearing that the shock bucket needs trimmed, but no instructions on the net anywhere.

Yep, i haven't done the cut myself yet. And those that have, are pretty mum about it.

I suppose I could just rip it out and use an aftermarket bucket like the 08's:

I just ordered fox 2.0 for mine. Bought them locally but you can get part numbers at the fox site. I went fox because bilstein did not seem to have a part number for the rears.

I had bilstein 5100 on my 13 and liked them. I will post my results with the fox 2.0 once they are installed . Btw my factory Rancho had an oil leak on one of the shocks at under 1k miles

I was going to change my shocks to the Fox 2.0 as I have the Fx4 package shocks on my 2018, but I think the truck rides great on the highway stock and don’t see how spending 500 is going to make any major difference. I do look forward to hearing how you like what shocks you chose.

If you submit a note to Rancho they'll shoot you the part #s you need.

I've got the RanchoXLs in my future. Primarily for the adjustability of the ride for daily driving, towing and off-roadability. Just need to get 'em into the monthly budget. I'd like to go fox, but I really can't justify ~50% more for the Fox shocks when realistically I'll only be off road a very low percentage of my overall miles over the next couple of years.

they worked great on my last ‘18 F350 for the short time I had it. Two boxes of XL’s are at home waiting for my next truck.

AutoAnything or 4 wheel parts should get you around $390 for all 4. Plus you’d get a $50 rebate from Rancho before July 31 I think is the correct date.
might find a better deal than I did

I only got $30 on the rebate because I bought the fronts and rears in different transactions. I submitted it all as one rebate with two receipts.

Do you have the part #'s ? The one's on the Fox site do not seem to be available anywhere.

These are from their site.
Front 0" to 1.5" 985-24-154
Rear 0" to 1" 985-24-151
