I only use it in the winter when I need it, 'cause the Ranger sits most of the summer while I'm enjoying the cars. There's plenty of days in the winter when I don't need it, but when we get one of our famous "lake effect" snow storms, well- 4WD is the only way I'm getting to work or back home. Never have taken it off-road, but some friends just bought a cabin that we plan on visiting this winter. I'll get my chance then, since I'm the only one they know with 4WD! Their Chevy Impalas and Mercury Cougars aren't known for dealing with snow drifts very well!
