The neighbor just bought a new Avalanch Z71. I asked him why he needed 4wd and when the last time he used it, and he could not remember. He figured It had been over 2 years
Just a note, I use mine about 1-2 times per week

fresh 400 in now to start my build up into the perfect truck. 400 Right! the truck looks nice in mini pic though.
My 4wd has been abused so i have to take it easy and some componets need replaced.
i was talking crap about the 400. Nothing wrong with them though. I have a 390 but its currently broke so what the hell do i have to say . Hey where you from in iowa.
My truck isn't a 4x4, but her Tracker is. We only use it in the snow on the uncleared roads. Guess you could call it a concrete cowboy. or cowgirl as it is her truck.
i live in the small hick town of Onslow. About 35 miles northeast of ceder rapids. I think pward76 lives in urbandale also. I like the motor after seeing the pics. I figures the best truck would have a 460 in it but i like all the ford sb. Yeah i'm curious hows dmacc reputation out there?

I use my 4 wheel drive when ever I need it. I don't count the number of times. I used 4 low just yesterday pulling a stump outta the ground. I don't go looking for the deepest mudhole I can find and don't look for the unbeatable hill to climb, I take each as I get to them and decide then... getting too old and can't afford to be breaking the new beast I have, compared to my older 4x4s and when I was younger and more daring. I still do things during hunting season that makes my best friends hair turn a tad greyer though.
84 B-II I use it but don't really abuse it. I haven't flipped it yet, I haven't drowned it. I have stuck it in the snow but a winch fixed that. It's just a necessity where I live and work in order to get to some of the jobs that I work on.

i once visited my aunt and uncle in anchorage. It was pretty damn cool i went in the summer. The not getting dark threw me off a bit but I actually saw reigndeer up there. A hell of a place for an outdoorsmen.
We camp alot,as well as any other outside activity we can find, so the 4wd is the weapon of choice, besides, the winters here change the roads to sheets of ice, and the snow sometimes gets pretty deep, so 4wd or at the least, front wheel drive. So at least 3 times a week in the summer and 24/7 in the winter.
