Sometimes it's the small things

Now, what was the thing that while relatively minor makes a difference for you?

I'm typing this on a new keyboard.
It is the same keyboard that I had 15 minutes ago.
My mouse is also new yet it is the same mouse.

How is That possible?

I bought a new, model MNY-RAQ-DEL2, Dell keyboard & mouse set to replace the 5 year old set I had.
This is a Bluetooth set and I run them on rechargeable batteries.
I've long been a fan of having the freedom that not being tethered provides.
The design of this set fits me well and I've lived with them for years.
I've gone through three or four mice in that time and was ready for another one.
My decision to buy the set thereby replacing the keyboard was correct.
What a difference in the keystroke tension.

AND IT'S CLEAN!!

What tool, part, food, book or whatever, has made you smile about it lately?

A sharp knife. I carry a Swiss Army Swiss Champ (the thick one with a gazillion tools) and a smaller fixed blade every day. The fixed blade is my cutter, slicer, grab-quick blade. I forgot how well it worked when it is nice and sharp. After I sharpened it last week its a world of difference! Same knife, works 100 times better. The hard part - keeping it that way.

Oh I have one of those, I like it too. Mine has the tooth pic---- seems like I use that more than the knife. But who wants to carry a tooth pic in thier pocket.

Yep my knife makes me smile when I bring it out, at work, to make a cut clean and quick. Usually it's cutting bumper covers clear at wreck sites.
It's a Tanto blade S&W folder. Clipped inside the top of my left front jeans pocket.

Thumbs up Got one

Ah--- I reread post one and I have one now.

Story-
25 yrs ago I was eatting a Texas Ruby Red grapefruit in the back yard when I came across a huge seed. I thought man sure looks like that could grow. So I shoved it into a potted plant on the patio and sure enough a few weeks later it started growing.
Over the years I kept transplanting it from pot to pot. We moved to a new house about 9 yrs ago and I decided the 10ft tree needed to be planted in the yard.

Thing is that tree never put on fruit, all those yrs not one flower. Then one day it bloomed and its had fruit now for about the past 4 yrs.

Juicy and huge fruit. The tree now is about 25ft tall and has a 7ft radius on the branches. Provides shade for my bedroom window and shelter from cold north winds. The tree is stunning and everone that visits always ask "What kinda Tree is that". So I get to tell the story.

So yesterday I went out with the ladder and picked some fruit. Not all of them but about 50 or so.

Heres a picture of some of them...

and it all started 25yrs ago...
