Adding Ambient Lighting

Question about 19 F150 XLT
If you have Sync 3 I would really try to do it all OEM. That's what I did. I have a Lariat Value and I already had 4 connector present and the BCM was prewired along with the cab to the doors. If I didn't have anything prewired I would have still done it. Took some time but overall it came out OEM and was able to function with Sync. With Sync and Forscan you are able to change the colors. Forscan uses 2018 adjustability where 2019 trucks are factory preset blue. Although I have a 2019 I did the Forscan to get the 2018 adjustability. I suggest looking at the F150 XLT link in the 2019 thread you posted above.

Update - I purchased these parts from TASCA
Passenger Front LED - FL3Z-14A411-F, $47.68
Driver Front LED - FL3Z-14A318-Q, $32.92
Drivers Seat LED - FL3Z-14A318-N, $28.05
I had previously enabled the ambient light with Forscan.
It took all of 10 minutes to install the LEDs. They work in all colors listed in the ambient lighting menu.
I have no plans on doing the doors or the cup holder. Not doing the doors or console makes this a quick and easy upgrade.
