I can grab some pics when darkness arrives
post 64 is some pic of at least what the screen will look like - way more cool than an aftermarket switch or **** LOL
Purchasing the console is the big hit but necessary if you want it to look factory - all in I was under $300. I recall the foot well and seat modules are like $20 each at most. Much cheaper than from factory especially when consider factory is only ice blue one intensity now. Having the ability of full control on your screen is nice
With all factory modules, terminals, OEM sockets and connectors, proper gauge TXL wire, wire loom cloth and even the terminal crimping tool Im just a tad over $400 and that's including the 175 dollar console.... Worth every buck.. Ill take my pics as well this evening of the doors and locations. h20 , have you by chance looked for the factory leads under the seats or footwell corners JIC something is there? Who knows with 19 being a little different then the 20s they may be using whatever they got. Its a mod where I get the most compliments.
From doing some research in the past hour it assumes Vehicle with Sync 3 would have the proper BCM as a guy over on the F150 board tried this with a 4.2 Sync BCM to 8 Sync 3 BCM adapter harness and was unsuccessful. You could enable it in Forscan and then test the wires as "BLUE-F150" did. He had 2 of the 3 wires going but couldn't get the power wire working apparently.
I added ambient lights to my 17 XLT. I used a kit from F150LEDS. Pretty easy install - full color choices and brightness controlled with a remote... works well for what I wanted. No door LEDS, but under seats and console, along with the cubbies along the center console.
The second pic you see is actually just a plastic piece sticking out. The led is behind the door and shines into the plastic flute like piece. Top pic is a small led.
This I think is the best part given I wanted OEM look. I ordered a 2017 Console Rear driver's seat Front passenger foot well Front passenger foot well Rear passenger seat
The best I could do
I will note - if you are looking to light the interior up, I would definitely not waste the time or money purchasing and adding the OE modules - although maybe you could use the wiring and controller of the truck to power your own LED's?
The OE provides a nice glow which is what I wanted since I drive a lot at night - I do not want any more light than this. Like Mkos stated, I too get a lot of compliments on it.
