April Thrill Pill on A Hill BS Thread
Spring time and a young man's fancy turns to I forgot cause that's a long-assed time ago...
Nice day today, I stayed the hell away from people so suffered no April Fools pranks.
Weather was strange. When sunny, it was nice. When cloudy, looked & felt like it was gonna' snow.
Y'all have a good week.

Thomas, his missus & your's t went to Hattisburg this morning for a car show who's name escapes me.
Nice little show & we had a great time.
Missed Steve Bennett but his gorgeous truck was on display.
On the way back we went through a "outlet" store that makes Harbor Freight look like Neiman Marcus.
Naturally we loaded up significant percentage portion of the US/Chinese trade deficit.
Bottom falling out held off till they dropped me at home.
Will try & get a few pics up later.

David, I hate I missed you guys today at the "Great American Car & Truck Show 2019". Appx. 250 entrants which is impressive for a 1st time show. Temple Baptist Church promises this will be held annually and I'm sure it will grow as it becomes better known. Our local club (Backwoods Cruizers) are holding our annual CARQUEST show next Saturday. Come on down to Columbia and join us. We average 90 to 100 vehicles every year. I was shocked today that I did not see another 1953-1956 F-100 in a show that big. Lots of really nice rides though. We'll catch up with each other sooner or later! Steve

Hey Steve, there were a lot of different stuff there for sure.
We talked to a guy who had a manure spreader (51-52?) in flat black using the original flathead.
It rolled on a narrowed crown vic IFS with/mustang rear.
It had a triple carb setup & Eddy heads plus a neat AC setup.
Said except for some over heat issues they (him & his primary builder who was there) were sorting out, it cruised everywhere he wanted to go straight & smooth.
We tried to get Gator & Norma to come up , but S in L was boxing that day in Gulfport.
Don't think we'll make Columbia, (gardening/yard/etc for me) But Thomas has his eye on some other shows coming up.

Over here in Hooterville, MS, at the Shady Rest, there ain't much to do except maybe go swimin' in the water tank. The Cannonball ain't due 'till Sunday.
