Tuner Electrical Question
OK weird question but I figured somebody could answer here. My Bullydog is being used just as a monitor for egt, fuel pressure and coolant pressure. It received the signal through a docking station that is hooked up to pressure sensors. The sensors require a 5v source and I have them wired to a 12v source with a reducer to 5v that I picked up from a local audio store. The readings are accurate but they spike every 30 seconds or so, actually somewhat randomly, for a split second. It's fine except for the max temp/pressure recorded reflects that temporary spikes. What could be causing this? It seems to me that the voltage spikes causing the reading spikes.
