I'm deleting my muffler on my 2018 F250 CC 6.2 this Friday. I heard that the Banks exhaust tips can add a little more of a throatier sound.... Has anyone on here changed their exhaust tips and seen a big difference for a deeper sound? Can't wait to be able to hear my truck finally after Friday!
I added the Magnaflow Dual Exhaust tips to mine. Just cut and welded the over axle pipe aft of the muffler and the dual tips from a 6.7 diesel kit, It did take some work at the muffler shop, but turned out ok.
And it is mildly throaty and not overly aggressive or obnoxious.

I added a Gibson 5in tip to my 6.2L. Unfortunately I did this before the muffler delete so I do not have a comparison. It does however sound good in my opinion.
I did a muffler delete and it was too loud IMO - it also droned on the highway. I wound up going back and having an aftermarket muffler added instead and it's much better. I can still hear it but it's not obnoxious.
My neighbor was trying to talk to me once and I had to turn the truck off to hear her - a little embarrassing.

Do you have the part # for this tip? is it mounted over the factory tip?
