My '17 SD has a few running board raised plastic grips that have disappeared, anyone know where I can find replacements?
Their located right where I place my foot when I enter the cab. Contacted the dealer and Ford parts won't sell them separately.
They claim I need to purchase a whole new running board. I found it hard to swallow for just a couple of 1.25" by 4" plastic pieces.
Mine are loose in a few spots but still intact. My buddy has a 3D printer and will some day make me some replacements, or I will upgrade to a different board, maybe AMP retractables.
If they won't sell them separately, I'd try a junkyard. I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you a few without the whole board. Especially if the board is damaged somewhere.
That $19-each eBay posting showed a part number. A little additional research reveals part numbes FL3Z16491DA (left) and FL3Z16490DA (right) ... $8.35 each from Tasca.

EBAY ripoff exposed= good work gents.... that seller is like many others, who depend on potential buyers not having the means or desire to do proper research before buying from them. I know buyer beware, but some of those sellers are just con artists in the online retail space... Tom..

I agree some sellers ask prices which are too high, but without comparative shopping, how would you ever know that price was high? I don't see how that eBay seller is trying to "con" anyone because nobody is being tricked or forced to buy his product. We are free to buy elsewhere. eBay is not the place it once was for bargain hunters. Some good deals can be had there, but it is prudent to shop for the best deal ... especially when it can be done online from the comfort of your home versus driving all over town.
