Choke is stuck

Hey guys, this one is a unique problem for me. I looked around on the web and cannot locate any threads with the 7.3 choke. Basically it is stuck "on" and won't let the truck return to normal idle. I see/saw there are manual choke kits for the gas engines, but are there any for the 7.3? Or, are there any known threads dealing with this issue with pictures?

You won't find anything because that's not what it's called. It's a fast idle circuit, not a choke. Same premise in the sense that it raises RPM during warm-up, but not the same functionality.

There is a two prong sensor behind the horn where the upper rad hose meets the motor, unplug that and see if it fixes it

if you are stuck on high idle, you can unplug the wire off the fast idle solenoid on the passenger side of the injector pump rite where the throttle arm is. if the idle drops, the problem is in the high idle circuit. if it does not, it is in the throttle cable or pedal .
my bet is a frayed throttle cable not letting it return to idle.
