2005 security box
I’m having problems with my security control module. The code keeps coming up on my programmer and I am out to replace it. Problem is is that I can’t find it. Everywhere I look says that it’s behind the radio but mine isn’t. I have a 2005 f-250 5.4l XL. I have electric locks and windows. Could anyone please point me to where the module is? Thanks

There is no security control module on these trucks. A door lock module exists above the steering column above the brake pedal for trucks with keyless entry and power locks. What code are you getting?

I am not sure at this moment in time what the numbers are on the reader, I can scan it and look tonight but it there is a code for the lock module. Does the lock module have anything to do with my taillights though? I've had a couple mechanics tell me that the taillight fuse runs a few different things under the dash as well as the taillights themselves. I'm a noob to wiring when it comes to vehicles.
