hello haven’t been on in a while. Just recently bought a 93 F250 7.3 with a banks sidewinder turbo on it. Also has a banks TCM on it. The truck wil only shift by manually moving the shifter( no auto in drive) it’s a brand new rebuild fluid is good brake light is constantly on fixed the speed sensor wiring today have not noticed a flashing od brake light flashes on and off spermatically. When put in drive feels like it’s trying to take off in 3rd. Need help figuring out how to get it to shift correctly. Thank you all in advance
That's an interesting word. What is it's definition?

Not third, I can tell from here it's taking off in fourth gear. The trans will only have fourth gear when the TCM isn't working. Either it's fried, or not actually connected to the transmission, or it isn't getting power from the truck.
Yeah don’t quite know how auto correct got me on that one😂😂 thanks for the fast response by the way. I will try to get out there today and test if i have power to the tcm and check all the grounds since it is aftermarket.
The connector cleaning worked! TCM is getting power and talking to the tranny and shifts like it’s brand new🤘🏻 Thanks for the fast responses and the help! Now onto the next diy disaster the previous owner left for me lol if anyone could point me in the right direction of the gauge installation forum for a 7.3 with a sidewinder turbo that’d be awesome!
