Does anyone know of any motor mounts better than the stock style cheap import mounts for a 75 f-100 4x4 with a 390? Looking for something similar to what’s available for other engines such as the ones in the attached pictures.
Auto Fab makes them for 4x4 applications. What's wrong with the current ones? I will tell you there is issues with running that style mount on a FE Block. The front frame flex will crack the block with a ridgid style mount. The block is rather thin at that water jacket. When we used to use FE engines in off road racing chains were preferred over ridgid mounts because of it.

To be honest I never heard of the issue they might cause. That definitely makes me reconsider.
My issue isn’t so much with the function of the style repops... More with the cheap nature of them. They seem good for about a year or so and then need replaced. Tires last longer. Still better than cracking a block.
They're not really rigid mounts though. There are polyurethane bushings in that inner sleeve.
Or is that an issue as well? Seems like they would not be all that much less cushioning than stock, though with all that rubber in there, the stock ones might allow more flex. Or perhaps just more vibration damping?
Kind of curious, because my reproduction mounts from India fit like crap I thought. This is for a 400 in a '79, but I could not seat the engine in the v-notch with the new mounts.
Occurred to me that maybe the frame had "sprung" a bit when I removed the old engine and just spreading the frame rails a half inch or so would let the studs fall into the holes, but had never run into that particular scenario myself. So didn't really know quite how to deal with it, short of elongating the holes.
