I have a '11 limited but ran into the same issue. I went up to a 305/45R22 All Terrain for summer (No rubbing at factory height) and a 285/50R22 for winter (blizzaks) Yes I found matching limited 22s so I could run the factory wheels year round, wasn't cheap but I'm happy.

Main reason I wanted a 305 wide tire was to keep from curb rash...

I'll give you major credit for honesty. So the 305 eliminates the chance of an accidental rash attack?

Yes its impossible to hit the wheels with the 305s, I've touched a curb more times than I'd like to admit...

Not the best photo showing the tire poke but its there for sure.

I appreciate the picture. Upon further research the tire I want isn't available in that size. I really want a Michelin. That accidental rash is always a fear of mine. I wanted the 22" wheels but it always worries me. Thanks again!

Nice to know the 305/45's fit without rubbing on stock height trucks. I was looking at the 305/40, but I like the 45 series as they are 33" tall.
