My trailer came with 205/75-15 ST tires. They're getting old. I replaced one before our last trip because it was bald on the inside edge (I'll be investigating the uneven wear). I'm looking to replace all 4 tires next year before our first trip. I'm considering purchasing 215/75-15 Load Range E truck tires, mostly due to the fact that I can buy better quality American or Japanese tires in that size, since all of the trailer tires appear to be Chinese, even the Goodyear Marathons now. From the specs, there appears to be about a 1/2 inch difference in diameter between 205 and 215. My concern was rubbing, but with that small of a difference, I don't think that would be an issue. They'll be going on a 2008 KZ Spree, 280RLS. Has anyone moved up from the 205 to the 215? Any issues with rubbing or any other issues?
However, I can find no load range E tires in that size, nor in the 225/70 size, only passenger tires.
I was surprised by your post about finding Load range E in a 15 inch tire. I tried that route four years ago, gave up, and moved to 16 inch wheels and LT tires. The only high load capacity tires in 15 inch that I found are trailer tires. My tire OD went up by just under 1 inch because of the tire sizing I chose.
As for the corner tire wear, I had that too until I added MORryde X-Factor cross braces which stopped my spring brackets from flexing side to side.

I found some Goodyear Wrangler HT tires on TireRack in load range D for 215/75-15. It lists the country of origin as US, vice the Goodyear Marathon which is listed as China. You are correct. There is little or nothing out there in 215/75-15 in load range E. I can live with the D range if it's a US, Japanese or even Korean tire. I've heard and read too many bad things about the Chinese trailer tires.
