RUBBER SPRINGS
Just chucked the ARB OME front leaf spring kit. Had them in for the past 80k and finally got sick of the harshness and they had sagged quite a bit and the silent rubber bushes were shot.
So yesterday I changed them out for a set of the Blue Max 3 Leaf Parabolic Springs from Suspension Supplies.
Fairly straight forward job and she sits nice after a good test ride and a few woopy bounces.

It certainly rides noticeably better on the black stuff and graded gravel, but the real test will be corrugations. All in all I'm happy with the change.
What I'd like to know is: Have any of you jokers fitted a set of SULASTIC Front Rubber Spring shackles (SUL-SC-15) or even the Rear ones (SKU-SUL-SA-06)?They
They give approx. 1/2" lift which is good as the Blue Max gave me back the 2" lift of the ARB OME springs and I have the ARB OME 600kgs in the back.
By all accounts they very sturdy are pretty good and long lasting and cut the jarring by absorbing the greater percentage of the impact in the rubber spring and not directly into the shackle bracket and the chassis rail.
I know and don't in any way expect a Limo ride but to get any reasonable degree of ride improvement would be nice.
Cheers and beers Reg
