There is MUCH more to springs than the number in a pack. Width, thickness, spring rate, etc.
Generally softer springs have a lower weight rating. Try to get these from the manufactures. However this is more of a guideline and not evidence to the stiffness of the spring itself; case in point: the new 2011 springs.
had a 4" pro comp on the red truck in my sig and it was stiff as a board. so much so that i totally removed the sway bar system and still had zero indication it wasn't there.
that being said i was not concerned with the ride back then. i loved bouncing around believe it or not lol. after 5 years it wore on me, and got to the point my wife wouldnt ride with my anymore.

Our drive back up Hwy 101 yesterday from Pismo Beach was no fun at all and, I'll be hard pressed to take the SD for our next trip, she'll want to take the Ex.
While there is nothing wrong with the Ex, it rides on stock tires, no lift, no OBA.
So the question stands, whose springs can I get to keep the ride height, load while smoothing out the ride and improving flex off road. There is no way this kit could do much off road (rock crawling) with the stiff springs.
i have the Pro Comps diesel level springs on my 5.4 powered F350 with a set of sky jacker nitrogen shocks and my truck has never handled better, or driven smoother EVER. I think its your shocks first, and second you have a lift spring on your truck that has a huge amount or arch in it too provide lift, no lift spring is going to ride as good as a stock set of small arched leaf springs. A quality shock will make life much better but this aint no car, its a 3/4 ton truck
so you put good pro comp's on which helped but the ride is still too harsh? Like i said your not gonna get a car like ride nomatter what you do, unless you do the 2011-up rear spring mod but then you loose half your payload capacity. No lifted truck wether its Ford or GM is gonna ride stock nice they all get harsher

Guess just used to my Jeeps with the coil springs, and half ton cap.

I have the same front leaves and shocks as SDscaler and it is 10x smoother then stock setup ..my truck used to remind me of driving a dump ruck with no air seat....so no procomp doesn't necessarily mean rough ride...
