I, personally don't care for NOS parts that are rubber....which is now over 50 years old. I would be concerned about oxidation and short life. You can get the same thing in polyurethane which will last a long time.
Gotta say I agree about using old rubber instead of new (Repop) poly in this case. I replaced mine with new on my F-100 and do not have any issues with them at all.
Just fyi ford still sells these and they are not old stock. 2018 on plastic package. Just use the updated part numbers that Number Dummy has in this thread. I think they were under ten bucks apiece.
