1964 F100 Styleside Shortbed
Sadly, I am out of time to restore my 1964 F100 Styleside.. I bought from a customer/Doctor that bought this truck brand new in Butler,AL.. All documentation including build sheet, bill of sale, complete with the bumper that matches the name of the dealership. I drove the truck home, it was a truck he used to go to the home depot etc with. Speedometer says 99k on it. I took it apart with intentions to frame off, I had the frame cleaned and painted, installed the engine and transmission. No body parts are on the truck now!!!! took all parts to the blaster and coated with rust bullet .few years back, all of this truck has been in storage. It has been sitting inside, I just had the 2 fenders and core support blocked and epoxy primed. I have purchased vintage air, installed 2 wheel disc brakes, had the inside seat recovered to its original cloth pattern. I have also had all the trim polished and wrapped in newspaper for 2 years. I have seen a bunch of vintage cars in my life and this one is a jewel. I wish I would have never taken it apart. I usually do these reso's myself but as turn out life gets in the way sometimes. I do not have the time to finish it. It will be a very nice piece when finished. Remember I drove it home. I have all the pictures before I took it apart and all the pictures after disassembly. I understand I will never get my money out of this truck. I am just trying to put a number on it. You guys have always been helpful in the past. Any ideas on a number I should ask for this truck ???? And the best way to move it ??? This truck has every piece as it rolled of the factory line, except for the front windshield. I hate to see this truck go to waste
with the shape it is in and all the documentation. Thanks again guys , David
