I purchased a 1964 F100 from the original owner about 3 years ago. It has 99k miles on it , I drove it home. I have been after this truck for 10 years. A Doctor that I know, his father bought this when he was 16 years old. I have the actual invoice from the truck and the rear stamped bumper matches the original bill of sale and title. I have all the paperwork. The owner says he had some pictures although I have not seen them yet. I took to my shop took some pictures and stripped it apart starting a frame off. I bought all the inside new, installed disc brakes, purchased vintage Air, had all the aluminum and chrome polished and re-chromed, sandblasted frame repainted it Ford Black , re-installed the original motor, that was just rebuilt by a very good engine guy in town. I have the truck apart and has been inside my shop since then. As much as I hate to I think I am going to sell it . I have just got to many projects. This is one fine Truck it has very little rust, some under the bottoms of the doors the front of the bed, the battery ruined the Right front inner fender, i bought new one of those also. I was wondering what this truck is worth. I would imagine I have probably 5 to 6k in it at this point. What is it worth, I just do not know where to start. If I was looking for a 1964 Ford to build, this is it. I also had the seat recovered in the OE fabric, it is sitting in the upholstery showroom, has the gears in the center of seat. What should I ask for this. I have pictures before and after teardown. Thanks , David
I think you're going to have to fix the rust and put it together. If it is assembled, complete, and running, you'll get your money and more.
You can forget about the AC and anything fancy for now.

Whenever I see a disassembled vehicle for sale on Craigslist...they seem like they are on there forever. Sadly, I think of them as a basket case. Anyone can take a truck apart. Often times people get over their heads and then sell it off.
You will certainly get more money if you can get it together.
It is now worth way less than you paid for the truck when it was whole and close to drivable.
Even if you finished it and did a real nice job, you could have went out and bought just as nice of a complete finished truck for less money than you would have into it. And your time would have been free.
Like jaas63 said, basket case vehicles don't sell. The hobby is littered with vehicles in the exact state as yours, all tore apart, frame painted and a bunch of new parts. Not trying to be cruel but that's just how it is.
I'd have to echo what some others have said. In boxes and not driving, you're probably maxed out at $3k but that depends very much on your location and the details of the parts condition.
I've been surprised recently to see some softness in the market for our beloved 'slicks'. Prices seem to be topping out in the low $20's to mid teens for really good restored trucks. Given that coupled with the truck-in-box nature of yours, you could be in for a rough time getting this sold without taking a bath on it. Might be time to knuckle down and get it assembled and running before selling.
