Hey everyone! New to this forum. I'm an owner of a 1968 F-100 bump that is almost complete restored and modified(restomod). I have almost 500 hours into it so far. My question is this: Can i simply bolt on a step side bed???
Welcome to FTE
If you have a chevy you can bolt on the step side us Ford owners call them flare sides
If your years truck are any thing like my 81 F100 (80 - 86) they will inter as long as it is long bed for long bed and short for short.
Also if anything like the 80-86 flare side trucks the hard part is finding a good flare side bed.
The 80-86 they don't make the bed sides(metal) or fenders (fiberglass) so you have to try and find good ones or fix what you have.
I am sure someone that knows more of your year truck will be by to answer.
