2007 Super Duty TBC Fault
I have a 2007 Super Duty that gives me the dreaded TBC fault every time I start the truck regardless as to whether or not I'm pulling a trailer. Once I hit the reset button, everything works fine, even the trailer brakes, until I stop and restart the truck. I've searched the forum and have found a few suggestions for possible causes, but haven't found a solution that has eliminated the problem. I've checked the grounding, replaced both trailer plugs and sent the trailer brake controller in to a service listed on Ebay that diagnoses and repairs (so they say) your controller and sends it back, but the problem remains. Anyone else had this same symptom and manage to solve the problem? Any chance there is someone in the Houston area that would temporarily swap controllers with me so I can tell if the problem is with the truck or the controller? Removing the controller only takes a few seconds. My controller is a P/N 6C34-2C006-AF.
