Titan Tanks using Forscan to calculate

I have a 2017 F350 Crew Cab 4X4 diesel short bed. I am wanting to replace the OEM tank with a Titan tank (I notice it's a 55 Gallon tank). My question, Is there a way to calibrate to a 55 gallon tank? I only see with Forscan I can calibrate to a 50 gallon tank. Is there another for a 55 gallon that I am missing?

I don't think there is a way to "calibrate" for an off-standard size tank. The fuel level indication will always be reasonably accurate; full will be full, half will be half, etc. What will be off the mark will be the DTE because there's not a means to adjust the ratio of former to current volume change, as best I can tell. Just don't seem to be able to locate a means to "calibrate" (adjust) for the volume shift for a non-standard tank size. However, I've been wrong before ... so someone chime in if they have been able to do it.

I guess I will calibrate/adjust it to a 50 gallon tank. That would put it close, 5 gallons off.

I found it................

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Change asterisks to one of the following: 4 4A=30 Gal, 5 07=34 Gal, 5 EA=40 Gal, 7 19=48 Gal, 7 65=50 Gal, 8 22=55 Gal (This parameter is programmed to accept 4 digit Liters in this format XXX.x 55gal converts to liters of 208.198L so 208.2L rounded then drop the decimal 2082 decimal to HEX equal 822.)

Back in 2011 I installed a Titan 50 gallon on my F250 shortbed truck. I took it to dealership and had them change settings to a 50 gallon tank . They told me it couldn’t be done and I told them the steps once they connected it to their computer. Seems Ford had several tank sizes to choose from. He found the 50 gallon option and it worked perfectly. I also had him turn on the daytime running light option which he said he couldn’t do . He said it’s an option I didn’t have . I told him it’s an setting in the computer, he found it and turned it on . Most trucks have all these settings to satisfy build options or state requirements. He learned something that day .

Unhappy 2022 DTE ForScan Change

Looking for help from those that have been more successful than I. I have a 2022 6.7 short bed and have had a 55 gallon Titan tank for about a year. With ForScan I have changed theIPC line 720-03-01 with the 8 22 per the spreadsheet but have had no change to the DTE on the dash gage. As seen in the image, am I also required to change the 720-09-01 (see highlighted cell) to make the change work? I'm a bit confused. Many thanks in advance!

Yes, you need to change 720-09-01 too.
