I'm trying to get my dash back together on my 78 non ac and am haveing a hard time getting the cables back on that control the heat and vents is there a trick to them I can bolt them down but then they won't reach the arms or I can put them on the arms but can't get them aligned right to bolt on,
I'm guessing the cables were never disconnected from the box and now your trying to hook the controller ends back up ? If so, take the adjustment screws completely out at the heater boxes end and try it again. If you leave that end adjusted up and tightened down the cable won't come far enough back to hook up.
