testing TPS voltage / help
supposed to get no more than 1 volt when probing the green wire on tps with KOEO- Get 0 volts no matter what wire I probe -- should be getting good connection --removed the insulation on the new TPS & put probe right on the metal whwere the wire goes in . Did I buy a faulty tps --Still trying to figure out the irratic high idle problem .Any help appreciated. I did put it on by not knowing you supposed to set them (or clock them).

Its a 87 f150 302 --p o said an early to mid 90,s engine had been put in --Was unsure --makes me wonder if it was done at all --would like to find out what year it is but I dont know where to look --Do you?
