Deciding on a spring project

Well it's that time to start thinking about my next project or 2 for my truck. I'm thinking of tearing into the top of the motor, and fixing some potential issues before they bite me. When I got my truck last summer it only had about 97k on it, not bad for an 05 350. I have slowly been doing preventive maintenance on it. The best was the Restore flush and switch to ELC coolant.

After that the truck has been running while, except my EOT/ECT deltas went from 5-6 degrees to 10-11 degrees. But they have stayed consistent for the last 3k miles.

So now I'm thinking maybe it's time to do the oil cooler, not sure if it is original or OEM for that matter. While in that far I planning on a new EGR cooler, need it as I live in CA.

As I continue, I am planning on working on the high pressure oil side, STC, stand pipes and dummy plugs, Again the PO didn't have that info.

Further into this little project, I figure I should just replace the up pipes.

Well like I said, thinking of a spring tome project. Am I thinking too much into this? I don't have any issues, so is this even worth my time and effort. I guess this could be mostly for piece of mind.

Dang, the term "glutton for punishment" comes to mind, LOL. Can't you just go get a root canal or something? Have you, by chance, been married a long time?

I buy diesels because I don't want to work on my truck, lol. Seriously, if you're really this bored, I wonder why, rather than buy an new EGR, and since you're thinking of replacing the up pipes anyway, why don't you just weld up the existing EGR and leave it in place? It'll look fine to the inspectors.
