1966 F100 4x4 SWB Engine Mount Brackets ND HELP

I have a 1966 F100 4x4 SWB truck the PO had put in 351W back in the 70's. I acquired a 1966 f100 with a 352 FE motor in it that would like to put in the 4x4. My question is the engine brackets that go from the frame to the engine the same for a 6 cyl and 352 FE? ND Help!!! The frame has several threaded locations that will allow the mount to move forward and back. Yes it is still gathering dust in the back.

Buggy,
I just put my 352 in about 3 weeks ago. My front end is still open so I can take some picks of my mounts if you would like. I'll also dig through some pics of when the motor wasn't in to see if i have any clear shots of where they mount on the frame for you. Let me know.

My LWB is a 4x4 also and has a 352 in it. By looking at them it appears you just move them to another mounting position. I know that when I had a 66 2wd I went from a 352 to a 6 cyl and all I had to do was move the mounts to a different position on the frame. I am assuming that the 4wd is the same but just wanted to make sure, that way if I had to find a set I would have time.
Thx
Mike

The R/L rubber insulators are the same:

1965/66 F100/250 352 2WD // 1966 F100 352 4WD // 1967 F100/250 352 2WD/4WD & F350 // 1968/76 F100/250 360/390 2WD/4WD & F350.
----------------
C6TZ-6028-D Right & C6TZ-6029-F Left .. Engine Supports / Obsolete

1966 F100 352 4WD // 1967 F100/250 352 4WD // 1968/76 F100/250 360 4WD

Regardless of what the pic shows, 240/300 4WD supports are not the same as 352/360.

Is this what you are looking for or referring to? There are 3 mounting holes. The mounts or perches are in the back 2. See pics below. I'm not sure if this is what you wanted to see

Looking at the pic just wanted to make sure
1/ So just to clarify the C6TZ-6028-D Right & C6TZ-6029-F Left .. Engine Supports are the same for 6 cyl and 352. per the pic. ( That is the part I was asking about)
2/ You would have to have the 6038 for 6 cyl with the additional support brackets shown for each side ??? if I was going to put a 6 cyl back in it.
3/ I would just use the rubber insulators for the 352 that would mount directly to the C6TZ-6028-D Right & C6TZ-6029-F Left .. Engine Supports Like the Pic 66 w 352 attached to his reply

Thx
Mike

I told you that 240/300 is not the same when I posted the pic. The basic part numbers are the same, but that's it!

I knew that when I posted the pic, it would cause confusion, that's why I clarified it.

MntBuggy,

I'm not an expert on this but this is what I believe to be correct.
The FE and I6 had the same perches but located in different holes in the frame. Your '66 would have had these perches from new, the question is did they change them when they insralled the 351W. The 302/351W would bolt in using the FE perches but it would be raised up 1" higher than it should be. The correct perches for a 302/351W would be the same as the perches for a 351M/400. In any case it shouldn't be to hard to find FE perches, any F100 4x4 up through '76 should have them but like I mentioned your 351W may already be sitting on FE perches.

The 240/300 2WD perches are the same as 352, the 4WD perches are not the same.

240/300/352: 1965 F100/250 4WD, 1965/66 F350; 1966 F250 4WD use a similar 3 point engine mounting system as 1961/64 223/292, so nothing interchanges.

1981 was the first year that F150/350 & Bronco were available with the 351W .. No F100 of any year came w/a 351W

When you said that I thought you were talking about the 6 cyl / engine mounts since they have the same # as the 352. Ok I will be searching

My '66 F100 4x4 was a 352 truck. I would have to review photo's to make sure if they were there. Gettin' old but kinda remember removing them. I used late model F150 mounts to install the 2.7 EcoBoost
