Motor mounts?

In Frank there has been a 352 transplant that was not done by me, it use to have a 292, but i have a question on how it should be mounted. there is a mount on the very front of the motor, it is home made by the looks of it, and 2 on the bell house. I was woundering if this was normal and if i could use the same mounts for a 390.

that sounds similar to what i had on my 391 HD industrial are you certain it was a 352?......but if the 352 or what ever FE or FT block is in it it should bolt up to a 390 they are pretty much all cast the same

Please, when asking questions, list all the pertinent info: Year, series, 2WD or 4WD.

What year is this truck you're speaking about? Your "About Me" profile says 1965 F100, album pictured truck has a 1966 grille, 1965/66 upper grille panel.

Pictured Warranty Plate in album: 1961 F100 4WD 292.

Last year for 292: 1964 / First year for 352: 1965. Is this truck 2WD or 4WD? If a 1965 F100 4WD, engine is mounted correctly.

1965 F100/250 4WD, 1965/66 F350, 1966 F250 4WD use similar three point engine mounting system as 1961/64 F100/250 2WD/4WD and F350.

Front: L shaped bracket bolts to front of engine, uses two donut rubber insulators, one above, one below crossmember.

Rear: Bellhousing has an "ear" on either side, rectangular steel/rubber insulator located between ears and crossmember. Below crossmember are rubber donuts. Bolts pass thru insulators, thread into bellhousing.

1965/66's use the same insulators as 1961/64, but the bellhousing is specific to 1961/64 as is the L shaped bracket.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1965/66 F100/250 2WD, 1966 F100 4WD: R/L steel/rubber insulators bolt to engine block, then to engine supports (towers, perches) that bolt to frame rails.

Extension housing has a flange made as part of it. Rectangular steel/rubber insulator bolts to flange, then to rear engine support (some peeps call this a crossmember) that bolts to frame rails.

It is a 4WD and i have no clue what year it is. I got it from a distant relative and i have no clue what he has done to it. This is a discovery of what frank is. So any information you can give me will help.

VIN is located on the passenger frame rail near the shock tower. This will verify the year. Also the VIN will start with F11 for a F100 4x4 or F26 for a F250 4x4.

It should also be on your title.

Garbz look in his garage there are 8 pics. I have started out with worse. Looks like the usual 60s vintage 4wd worked hard and then discarded when it could no longer work. The mechanicals long outlast the bodies.

OP has no "garage" so there ain't any pics there. Pics are in OP's "Album."

Click on OP's user name, then: View Public Profile. When page comes up, scroll it down...look at right side.

Below OP's user name, it sez 'Garage is empty, add now.' Click on that, see what happens.

Would that be on the inside or out side of the frame? I can't look right now I'm going to a Vo Tech college for Diesel. Frank is my side project.
