I never gave it much thought and initially thought digital had been around longer, but I'm pretty sure my friend's '00 F-250 XLT is analogue.

 

Kind of wish I had the diagnostic mode though, trying to figure out which of my doors is kicking my "door ajar" sensor on. When I had a Mountaineer the way to figure it out was to open each door individually with the engine running because it would beep each time a door opened, whichever door didn't beep when opened was your culprit. Tried that trick with this truck with no luck, no door open beeping.

so is my 02 XLT. but after 04 ALL were digital.

 

The digital odometer started in '02 with the electrical change. I'm pretty sure the Lariats and XLTs all got it but not sure if the XL did then too.
