Ah, I think you are on the right track... examine that external connector, and if no luck there, swap out that passenger's side gasket and harness.
Oh, and do a buzz test while you're waiting... Takes like 3 minutes.
I did a buzz test when my adapter came in oddly 123468 all sounded good 5 low 7real low. I called the dealer where I bought the injectors from. They said they don’t ohm there but place them in a machine to check operation didn’t have a problem. With initial operation. It told me to go ahead and bring them in after he spoke to an Alliant rep and one of his techs both said my reading were way off. Told me to take them out bring them they will ohm them there as well return my money and try and get me extra money because I had to install and remove them or get me new ones! So tomorrow I will take them back!
Where are you connecting your leads when you do your ohm tests?
Out of curiosity, which three were weak from the original buzz test before swapping the entire lot of injectors?
I'm not sure if the harness would reach, but you might even be able to just switch the harness wiring between 3/5 and see if 3 becomes low. If you can do that, it would save the effort of pulling the injectors to determine if they are bad. Obviously, only do a buzz test - don't try to start it like that.
My money is still on the gasket/harness/wiring, but if you want to pull all your injectors and take them to the dealer for a test, I can eat popcorn and wait for your report. I don't know that I've heard of Alliant producing unsatisfactory results, but either they are super great on customer service or have had some embarrassing failures lately that they want to correct to satisfaction.

I ohmed it from the Idm harness than from the 42 pin connector, same result than from the connector outside and inside the cover same reading. Pulled them last night checked the injector itself and boom same. The injectors are refurbished from pure power. The distributor said it was the first time they sold a set from them and won’t sell them again.
Well, I'll be waiting on the out come. Guys above covered all the bases. Pure power, that's not Alliant is it? It is a rebuilder isn't it? Just checking. I thought Ford bought direct. Anyway, we all wish you good luck. Sounds like you spent a lot of money here. Always buy OEM parts for electrical in are trucks. Just seems like nothing else is 100 percent reliable. Lots of problems.

I sure have put a good amount of money into it. Fortunately I went to school for gas automotive this is my first diesel. I have found out the hard way. Definitely found out Powerstroke do not like imitation parts! At least I can do my own work save some $$
Haven’t received my gaskets yet, however I can say to all make sure what ever multimeter one does purchase make sure it has good leads. They gave me false readings all though it did tell me one of my injectors was definitely bad took them all out and had the distributor test them. The one bad reading was on number 7 which caused the passenger side bank to shut down. Started the truck started fine and passed KOER Performed CCT everything was good except number 3 so I may in the near future have another Injector bad from pure power. Got a late start tonight it’s started at around 8-9 pm and Finnish around 1. Confirmation will be with test drive later today! When I wake up! But I must say Thank You all for the Help Really appreciate it!! Fill y’all in after the drive
For what it is worth, #3 and #8 cylinders popping up during a CCT is normal. If I remember correctly the grey CPS causes those codes to show up.
You just saved me some time online, I read something like about number 3 and 8 on the cct but wasn’t sure I actually did read that! Thank God you wrote that this has been a well learned experience!!
Great news Luis. Glad you got it running again. With all the work you've done hopefully won't have any problems for a long time. Stick around, we're glad to have you with us on the board.
