We built a heavy duty motor stand which bolts to the motor at the motor mount location and allows you to easily rotate your engine

pivot can clamp to lock motor in place

worm gear boat winch to rotate motor

another view of worm gear with a can of motivation

pivot for motor mount plate There will be different plates for my 428 CJ

one of the motor mount plates they are different on each side

If any one wants to build one I was planning on posting the measurements of both the pick plate and the stand if any one was interested.

Yes, they were. Just at cold start and not enough to cause puke when hot.

When I go back together I will be using O-ringed heads from PowerStroke Products. Their own brand new heavier castings , which are cheaper than having UCF rebuilt heads. I was skeptical but I went out and saw their products and talked to Steve and Alex . Super nice guys , they showed me around and showed me how there heads were better. I would definitely recommend them. Apparently they are even suppling their raw castings to other shops to which re-brand them.
