VIN: F60DEA46253

A46253 = 1967.
Compare the VIN on the registration/title to the Warranty Number to see if they match.
Truck is registered by its specific VIN but when the VIN is stamped on the Warranty Plate, it becomes the Warranty Number.
Ford said the Warranty Number was not for title or registration purposes. The usual reason why:
Warranty Plate riveted to the left door face below the latch. People replaced damaged left doors with used doors.
99.9% of the time, they failed to install the original Warranty Plates on the replaced doors.
Trucks were registered by their hidden VIN's, stamped atop the right frame rail either partially under, or in front of the cab.

The truck has been setting under a shed for 10 years the body and the inside is in great shape but it is not running and when they park it the brakes had quit so hopefully I can get it going with out braking the bank. Thanks again!!
