Driver side window problem.

Hey guys new to the forum. I have a question about my 02 7.3 CW - When I try to roll up the Drivers side window it only wants to rolls up 3/4 of the way and then stops and make a noise like it is hitting something and wont go any further. Then I roll it down, and the window doesn't go with the track down unless I put pressure on it to help it go down. Sometimes when I roll it down, there is empty space like the window is off the tracks. To give a little more info, the window doesn't shift forward or backward like it is off the track when rolling up. (I have had a car that did that). So far I have removed the panel and use silicone base lube for the tracks and still same problem.

I would accept any help I can get.

Several possibilities (tired motor, loose track, etc.). The truck is 17 years old so things are bound to happen.

My recommendation is to pull the panel off the driver and passenger door, plug the modules back in (windows won't work unless all modules are plugged in) and watch the passenger window operation. Go back to the driver's side and see where it's different.

My right rear window is a lot slower than the rest. I can't find anything wrong and figure that the motor is getting tired after 17 years.

Just my .02
